We're hosting a party, the kids have three parties in total to go to, one sleepover plus a Christmas Bazaar. I'm tired and it's barely begun.
Health-wise I'm feeling pretty good - knock on wood! Been very busy unpacking/hiding boxes. I have a list a mile long for tomorrow to do so hopefully I'll stay healthy.
We've got lots of Thanksgiving plans to figure out too. We're going to have a dinner here but we're also going to our dear friend's for a turkey. Not sure how it's all going to work out but we'll see!
Yesterday I went to the Bolivian Air Force Spouses' Tea - very interesting. My fellow DAO (Defense Attache Office)spouse, Carlene, went with me. That's a very good thing for a few reasons, her Spanish is soooo much better than mine plus she's a hoot! Considering the rather strong email John sent out last week that's making the rounds of the Bolivian government, I also wanted all the support I could find!
Her and I joked about me trying to get through the receiving line without giving my name then we sat with a small group of foreign (I think they were almost all Argentine) attache spouses. We were pretty much ignored from there on out by the Bolivians. It was fun though. The one Peruvian lady had a pretty X-rated wind-up toy that kept us amused for some time. These are some awesome women! :-)
John and Aaron picked us up from the Air Force Club and took us out for dinner. I stuck strictly to the soup, my stomach was thankful.
Bedtime came shortly after we got home. My stomach issues may have calmed a bit but I'm still getting tired easily!

Use TACT when living in a foreign country. Tell John to remember that word...TACT!
