Haiku Poet

My son received an award today. He was designate the fourth grade "Haiku Poet" and given the award at an assembly at school this morning. The girls and I attended (John's still away) where we hooted and hollered for our little man. I had thought I had a copy of his poem on my desk but alas, I do not but will definitely publish it here when I can get my hands on it! First, Lisette was our Shakespearean poet in Argentina last year, now Jake. What creative folks we are!

Work flew by yesterday. I've taken on a small project and spent most of the afternoon working on it. Hopefully it'll stay small! Another bigger project is scaring me a little but I'll move slower on that one and I have a great support system to help guide me.

We had friends over for delivery pizza dinner last night, then it was early to bed again. John's going to wonder about his work-worn wife when he gets back!
